COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The 2026 recruiting class for Texas A&M men’s basketball began to take shape Thursday with Bucky McMillan’s first commitment.

Combo guard Neiko Mundey, the third-best player out of Maryland in the class, gave his verbal pledge to the Aggies Thursday, a source with knowledge of the commitment confirmed with KBTX.

Mundey is a 247Sports.com 4-star commit and the 44th-best player nationally in the 2026 class, according to the site.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound guard chose the Aggies over offers from Auburn, Texas, Louisville, Texas Tech and Mississippi State, among others.
