Longmont residents can now use interactive online tools to see the city’s progress toward its stated climate and sustainability goals, thanks to its newly revamped Indicators website.

The website, available in both English and Spanish, tracks everything from local air quality to the number of trees planted by the city per year to parks and recreation access gaps in residential neighborhoods. The data is made more digestible with simple graphs that illustrate progress.

At a sustainability advisory board meeting held virtually Wednesday night, city staff said the new features are designed to make the site easier for the public and board members to use, such as the city’s Parks, Recreation and Trails Master Plan and its newly adopted Water Efficiency Plan.
