BOSTON (WWLP) - The House passed a spending plan sending millions to the health care system on Wednesday, with the Senate following suit on Thursday afternoon.

This legislation sends a total of $234 million to health care facilities, including $199 million in relief for acute care facilities, $122 million in payments for fiscal distress and those serving low-income patients, $35 million for community health centers, and $77 million for the Health Safety Net Trust Fund, which reimburses hospitals and health centers for treating uninsured patients.
