PHOENIX — Project work at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s Terminal 3 will be closing a major route through the airport nightly for two weeks.

Beginning the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 23, eastbound Sky Harbor Boulevard on the north side of Terminal 3 will be closed 8 p.m. – 8 a.m. nightly, through and including the night of Monday, Oct. 6 (opening Tuesday morning, Oct. 7).

All eastbound traffic during those times must detour through Terminal 3’s Inner Curb lanes, which will remain open. Significant traffic delays are expected due to the closure of this key corridor through the airport.

Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and strongly consider dropping off and picking up at the 24th or 44th Street PHX Sky Train stations, to avoid the detour and heaviest traffic. Th
