The owner of a restaurant chain that has a location in West Hartford was arrested Wednesday via warrant on two felony charges involving a restaurant supply company.
Gjinovefa “Gina” Luari, 33, CEO of The Statement Group – which includes The Place 2 Be and other area restaurants – is was released after posting a $10,000 surety bond and is due back in court on Oct. 22 to face charges of second-degree larceny and issuing a bad check of more than $2,000.
