SEYMOUR – Kathryn Roark scored twice and dished out three assists as Seymour overpowered Bedford North Lawrence 7-2 during girls high school soccer action on Thursday.
Ella Brock added two goals for the Owls, who recorded their first Hoosier Hills Conference win of the season.
“They had a very strong offense and took advantage of every opportunity we gave them,” BNL coach Bret Roberts said. “It was a close game at the half (3-1). When we scored our first goal, it totally changed the demeanor of both teams, but unfortunately they got several more goals in the second half.”
Collier Culbreth, Fiona Toral and Queizali Lopez added goals for Seymour (2-8-1 overall, 1-3 in the HHC).
Summer Hughes got BNL on the board in the first half, and Mycah Munguia added a second-half score for the Stars
