PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was arrested after deputies say he intentionally pinned a repossession agent between two vehicles near Battle Creek Thursday.
It happened around 10:20 a.m. on North Avenue north of Morgan Road in Pennfield Township, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say a repossession agent was trying to tow a vehicle when the man “intentionally” hit him with another vehicle, pinning him between the two. The suspect then released the victim and left the scene, the sheriff’s office says.
Arriving deputies gave the victim medical care before he was taken to the hospital. He had “significant” injuries, deputies said, but was in stable condition as of Thursday evening. He was not identified by the sheriff's office.
