NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Another night, another round of injections.
This is 10-year-old Hollis Horta’s new, necessary normal, and one of several medications he takes to stay healthy and alive as he continues his fight to beat brain cancer – for good.
Hollis said he was excited to see PIX11 News because every September, in recognition of Childhood Cancer awareness month, he takes every opportunity he can to spread the word about his unbeatable spirit in the hopes it will be an inspiration to others.
“When I was 4 years old, I went to school, and then I had bad pain in my head. They found out I had a brain tumor. A rare one,” said Hollis.
