GLOUCESTER — When Willingboro football coach Kenny Scott was watching film of Gloucester, a recurring theme kept appearing.
“We saw it on film, that No. 17 played with a motor,” Scott said. “It’s one of those motors that every team has a couple of guys and 17 is their guy to go to the ball.”
Scott was referring to Gloucester linebacker Harry Ulmer, a 6-foot-1, 205-pound senior. As impressive as Ulmer may have been on film, it was even better in person.
All game Ulmer made one big defensive play after another keying Gloucester’s 25-15 win over Willingboro in a West Jersey Football League Continental game.
Gloucester is now 3-1 and 1-1 in the Continental. The Lions bounced back from last week’s 30-14 loss to Paul VI, which is No. 13 in the Courier Post South Jersey Mean 15 rankings. Glou
