BURLINGTON – Donte Davis is undoubtedly the workhorse for the Burlington City High School football team.

However, the Blue Devils possess plenty more horsepower, too.

Burlington City showed off the explosiveness of its offense during its home opener, a 42-8 rout of Riverside in a battle of unbeatens on Thursday night.

The Blue Devils produced over 400 yards of total offense, including 290 on the ground, as they improved to 4-0 on the season and raised their record to 66-23-2 after the 91 st meeting with Riverside.

Talk about firepower: The team has converted 22 offensive touchdowns and scored 152 points over its first four games.
