BELTON, Texas (KXXV) — More than a thousand Bell County residents gathered outside the courthouse to honor conservative activist Charlie Kirk, just days after his assassination.

More than 1,000 people attended a candlelight vigil at the Bell County Courthouse to honor Charlie Kirk.

The event was organized by the Bell County Young Republicans, who shared prayers, tributes, and calls to continue Kirk’s mission.

Neighbors described the vigil as a moment of unity and healing, with many expressing deep emotion and admiration for Kirk’s impact and legacy.
