BOSSIER CITY, La. - A fire broke out Thursday evening just outside the Horseshoe Bossier City gaming vessel, but no injuries were reported and operations have since resumed, casino officials said.
According to a statement from Horseshoe Bossier City, all guests and staff were safely evacuated thanks to the quick actions of team members and emergency responders. The fire was extinguished shortly after it began.
The casino thanked the Bossier City Fire Department, Bossier City Police Department, Louisiana State Fire Marshal and Louisiana State Police for their swift response.
“The safety and well-being of our guests and Team Members remain our highest priority, and we are working closely with authorities as part of their ongoing investigation,” the statement read.
