COLUMBUS, Ohio — Safety Fun Fest at Barnett Recreation Center on Thursday night provided Columbus residents with access to vital community resources and youth programs as the city's third annual Public Safety Week neared its conclusion.

The event , organized as part of Public Safety Week , offered a wide range of services designed to support families and connect young people with law enforcement career opportunities.

Columbus police officer Wendell Tolber emphasized the broader community impact of the initiative.

"More importantly, it's all about the resources there that we hope that can make a change, not just in one person's life but in the community itself," Tolber said.
