ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- The Rocky River City School District has earned the highest recognition possible from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, receiving a 5-star rating on the 2024 State Report Card .

The rating is based on six components for Rocky River High School and the overall Rocky River City School District .

Ratings on the report card range from 1 through 5 stars.

Rocky River achieved a Performance Index of 111.1 -- the highest score in district history and the third-highest in Ohio.

This metric reflects the district’s exceptional performance across all tested subjects and grade levels.

Kensington Intermediate School scored a 5 out of 5 on all four components rated, including Achievement, Progress, Gap Closing and Early Literacy.
