WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- Wichita State guard TJ Williams has been waiting a long time to step on the Roundhouse floor for gameday. Now, his moment is almost here.
The Wichita Heights graduate and former Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year's Shocker debut was delayed by a torn meniscus ahead of his freshman season in 2024. But he is now back and ready to suit up.
“Playing in front of friends and family, they've been waiting to see, and I've been waiting to showcase what I've been doing,” Williams said.
It's a moment he has been dreaming about since childhood. Even as a kid, Williams had his sights set on being a Shocker.
“If you asked me when I was younger, what I wanted to do, you would think I'd say NBA player but I always said I wanted to play college basketball here so to be in this p
