New group FORT forms to fight potential state takeover of Fort Worth ISD

A new grassroots group called FORT — Families Organized, Resisting Takeover — held its first meeting at a church in East Fort Worth. Composed of parents, clergy, and community leaders, the group is mobilizing to prevent a potential state takeover of Fort Worth ISD. Their mission: to keep decision-making power in local hands.
