Depressurization of four containers of tritium waste at Los Alamos National Laboratory has been postponed until Saturday, due to weather conditions and equipment servicing.
Thursday was a "productive day" for preparations, according to an update on Los Alamos National Laboratory's webpage on the flanged tritium waste containers, and two containers are expected to be depressurized this weekend, one on Saturday and another on Sunday.
No operations are scheduled Friday.
The first tritium waste container was depressurized Tuesday.
