A Veterinarian Offers A Lifeline

When Aster’s original family discovered that she was blind and deaf, they brought her to an Alabama clinic asking for euthanasia.

The veterinarian, however, refused. He recognized that aside from her disability, she was a healthy dog with the potential for a long and happy life.

He took her in and began reaching out to rescues so Aster and her sister might have the chance to be adopted.
