Australian comedian, author and TV host Gretel Killeen and her daughter Epiphany Mason have swapped studio glamour for worldwide adventure.
In fact, the pair is competing in The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition to fundraise for the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI).
Making their debut on Channel 10’s successful reality series on 8 September, the duo will vie with 12 other teams, tackling physical and mental challenges throughout the world, to try to avoid elimination, while attempting to pocket $100,000 for their chosen charity.

For Gretel and Epiphany, their participation is not about the race or the money.
They have seen how illness affects family and friends… and would like their involvement to have a positive outcom
