This weekend, Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One as 15 contestants take to the ballroom for the first time.

Long-running Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel-Horwood has tackled concerns about being cancelled due to his notoriously blunt feedback on the BBC programme. ‌

The 60-year-old, who has served on the panel since 2004, is set to return to his judging duties this weekend alongside fellow panellists Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke. ‌

Presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly are also making their comeback to the show, with Tess having recently discussed the honour of being involved with Strictly . ‌

Throughout his tenure, Craig has built a reputation for his cutting remarks and is frequently branded as the programme's toughest critic.
