Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Pakistan possesses “credible evidence” that serving Indian army officers and illegal Afghan nationals are involved in terrorism and serious crimes inside Pakistan.
In a detailed interview with an international media on September 5, 2025, Lt Gen Chaudhry noted that Pakistan had hosted millions of Afghan refugees for four decades and repeatedly extended the deadline for their voluntary return on humanitarian grounds, reported.
