Week 3 of the high school football season in the New Orleans area includes a handful of rivalry matchups, plus one game that has a school visiting from Texas.

Rummel at Shaw

Rummel (1-1) used a strong rushing attack behind a powerful offensive line to take back the Megaphone from Shaw (1-1) last season after the Eagles won it the previous year for the first time since 2009.

The Raiders are coming off a 30-17 victory against University High at the Caesars Superdome. Juniors Jaden Terrance and Coryan Hawkins combined for more than 200 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns — including a kickoff-return touchdown by Terrance — in the bounce-back win after losing at Lafayette Christin by one point in Week 1.
