1. Walkertown (4-0) at Reidsville (2-2), 7 p.m. Triad No. 7 Reidsville hosts Triad No. 10 in a Mid-State 3A/4A/5A Conference opener for both teams that could ultimately decide the league championship. Reidsville rides a conference winning streak of 68 games since its last league loss on Sept. 30, 2011, a 21-20 overtime defeat to Burlington Cummings, and receives what should be its toughest Mid-State test of the 2025 season on Friday.
The Wolfpack have played an easier schedule than Reidsville but are one of only undefeated teams remaining in the Triad and boast an offense that has averaged 47.25 points per game, with the help of senior quarterback Jerrell C
