OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Friday starts with areas of fog and mist that could lead to some damp roads for some of us, especially southeast of the metro. We should be able to erode that quickly after sunrise and have a sunny morning to enjoy.

Clouds will increase later this afternoon leading to chances of showers and storms after 3pm deep into the night. The rain should be scattered but with some lightning also possible that could lead to delays for some high school football games tonight.

On and off rain and a few storms are possible through the night right into early Saturday morning. Those showers are expected to exit fairly quickly Saturday morning though.

That bodes well for those heading to Lincoln. While there could be a spotty shower before the game while tailgating, it looks like the
