(WHTM)-- Fall seasons mean a lot of things: Apple orchards, haunted houses, pumpkin spice lattes, and, of course, archery deer season in Pennsylvania.

According to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the state's archery deer season kicks off October 4 and runs through November 26. The season will also run from December 26 to January 19.

Hunters in specific wildlife management units, specifically 2B, 5C, and 5D – surrounding Pittsburgh and Philadelphia – can start September 20, per the Game Commission.

Hunters will also be able to hunt on Sundays this season after Governor Josh Shapiro repealed the state's ban on Sunday hunting.
