BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Burlington’s Oktoberfest is back this year with a new look after Triple E shut down the fun last summer.

Tonight, the fest comes to Pine Street in the South End Get Down space after eight years on Burlington’s waterfront.

The smaller space means fewer tickets to go around, so they’ve been halved at 1,000 tickets per night.

But that also means they’re cheaper. $40, instead of $65 per ticket.

Organizers, who also own South End Get Down, Staple the Pinery, say the shift to Pine Street was a smooth transition.

He says there’s more European beer on tap this year. Plus lots games, music, and food.

Oktoberfest is 21+. It kicks off tonight at 5:30 and ends at 9:00 Saturday night.
