BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Heads up gardeners and farmers: Frost and sub-freezing temperatures will impact many communities this weekend. Some of us will see temperatures as low as the mid-20s.
Timing: There is a risk for a frost or freeze both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Temperatures will drop rapidly after sunset Friday with frost developing by late Friday night. Take steps to protect sensitive plants and vegetation Friday evening. Temperatures will be coldest in the pre-dawn hours Saturday morning and warm into the 60s again after sunrise. Conditions will be similar Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
