PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Overnight showers and thunderstorms rumbled through the Valley, leaving behind a humid but quiet morning. Look for partly sunny skies throughout the day ahead, with a slightly below-average high of 98 degrees.

Storm chances continue today across the state as we deal with the remnants of what was Tropical Storm Mario. The best chances for rain and thunderstorms are in the high country. Closer to Phoenix, look for a 20 percent chance of storms today, with chances slightly higher in the foothill locations just north and east of town.
