PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Three people, including a young child, are in the hospital after a crash in east Phoenix early Friday morning.
Around 7 a.m., fire crews responded to Broadway Road and 32nd Street for reports of a crash involving multiple vehicles. Police say one of the vehicles involved began to catch on fire.
Fire officials say a total of four people were involved. Of those four people, a man, woman and 2-year-old child were transported to the hospital in stable condition. The fourth person was not taken to the hospital.
Firefighters extinguished the flames before they spread. It is still unclear what led up to the crash. There is heavy traffic in the area as crews work to clear the scene.
