The Greater Toronto Area’s pivot toward becoming a rental market is proving to be quite advantageous for renters, whether students or families.
An example is DBS Developments’ Bela Square, where Millennials and Gen Z renters figure prominently. The GTA saw nearly 35,000 rental completions last year (a total number that includes both purpose-built rentals and condo rentals), setting a record and more than doubling the 10-year average, and that’s bred ingenuity.
