Two of the three people charged in connection with the murders of two Penticton residents three years ago will remain in custody until their next court appearance in mid-November.
Simon Bourbonnais and Jaline King were both dressed in jail-issued jumpsuits during a one-hour procedural hearing that took place Wednesday morning at the Penticton courthouse.
The RCMP announced in July that three people were charged in the 2022 killings.
Bourbonnais is one of those charged with accessory after the fact to the murder of both Douglas Barker and Alannah Brown, along with the unlawful confinement of Brown and indignity to human remains of both victims. Additionally, he is charged with the manslaughter of Brown.
