The Carolina Reaper has a fearsome reputation. Once the world's hottest pepper - losing its title to the Pepper X just two years ago - it is often seen as something of a challenge to eat. ‌

However it has now hit the supermarket shelves in a mainstream product that is used by young and old alike. Primula Cheese says it has launched its "hottest yet" by combining the fiery pepper with its creamy offering and asking fans "can you take the heat?" ‌
