RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — The Richland County Sheriff's Department is investigating after it says a state employee intentionally rammed another vehicle in a Broad River Road store's parking lot.
According to the report, the victim was backing out of a parking space at the Family Dollar store at 2505 Broad River Road around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday when 30-year-old Brittany Larkin allegedly rammed them.
Authorities said Larkin was driving a Volkswagen Tiguan SUV when she accelerated and struck the passenger-side front door of the victim's Chevrolet Malibu. According to a sheriff's department release, the crash caused significant damage to the victim's door but no injuries to the victim.
The sheriff's department added that there were two children in the suspect's SUV when the incident occurred
