The head of the Mobile County Communications District has been released from his duties.

Roy Hodge was terminated as the MCCD director during a Thursday, Sept. 18, meeting of the agency’s Board of Commissioners, according to chairman Pat Mitchell, who is also warden of the Mobile Metro Jail.
