Coming off a comprehensive 44-6 victory against the University of Toronto last week, the Queen’s University Gaels head to Waterloo on Saturday feeling like they’ve hit their stride and the football gods, after a few cruelties, are smiling on them.

Before the road game against the Blues, head coach Steve Snyder was bemoaning his team’s tackling in their loss to top-ranked Laurier in Week 3 of the season. But at his press availability ahead of the contest against the 1-3 Warriors, Snyder had nothing but praise for the Gaels defence’s latest effort, shutting down U of T passing attack, which had led the nation in all statistical categories early in 2025 season.
