LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — After over a week of searching, the suspect of a late August shooting that left a man injured was arrested on Thursday afternoon, according to a citation from the Lexington Police Department.

Just after 2 a.m. on Aug. 29, the LPD had been dispatched to the 300 block of West Short Street in response to the reported shooting. When officers arrived, a man was found who had been shot. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Streete had been named as the suspect in that shooting on Sept. 10, spurring a search to find him. Bluegrass Crime Stoppers had named him as one of Lexington's most wanted on Wednesday.

According to court documents, Jonathan Streete, 29, was arrested around 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 18.
