An apartment complex in Bellingham has traded hands, showing that the northern Washington area continues to draw investors’ attention. According to Whatcom County public records, the property, Bakerview Terrace, has been sold for $12.79 million, or approximately $164,000 per unit. The buyer was multiple entities, one of which was based in Seattle, and the seller was a Bellingham-based entity.

Berkadia announced the completed sale of the 78-unit garden-style multifamily property, citing overcoming regulatory hurdles and timeline pressures to help expand a client’s investment portfolio in the greater Bellingham market.
