Swifties have been prepping for the 2026 Super Bowl because they feel like it’s Taylor Swift’s year to headline the halftime show. The rumors have been strong — until now.

There’s a new name that has joined the list of potential musicians, and it’s Adele, according to Page Six. While she has not officially been announced, the 37-year-old singer is reportedly “in talks” with the NFL and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, which produces the event. That doesn’t mean Swift or Miley Cyrus are out of the game, but the media outlet seemed to think that organizers were leaning toward Adele at this point.

In 2016, Adele’s name was reportedly in the mix for the 2017 game, but she stopped the rumors in their tracks at a Los Angeles concert.
