DETROIT - Apple is saying hello to Detroit for the very first time as it opens its very first store in the city .
The store opens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19 and is located at 1430 Woodward Avenue , downtown, right next to Shinola.
The Detroit store opening coincides with Apple’s launch of its new iPhone 17 series.
The store, which operates on 100% renewable energy and is carbon neutral, offers free technical support for customers as well as free iPhone 17 and iPod Apple Sessions.
