TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) -- A Taylorsville man has been arrested after his daughter came forth accusing him of rape, according to Taylorsville Police.

The man, 59, whose identity is being withheld to protect the victim, was arrested early Thursday morning in Salt Lake County on one count of rape, a first-degree felony; and two counts of sexual assault, a third-degree felony.

On Wednesday, Sept. 17, Taylorsville Police responded to a "late report sex offense". Upon arrival, officers were notified that the juvenile victim had reported to a third party that she had been raped by her father.
