PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren could see a bigger role moving forward after an impressive game against the Seattle Seahawks .
“Certainly, if the guy earns that,” Smith said about Warren’s opportunities. “You’ve got to do whatever you’ve got to do to win the game too, but you also think about the totality of the season. We can’t ask anybody to run the ball 500 times. Maybe there’s somebody that can do it. I certainly haven’t seen it. That all goes into it.”
Warren has played in just 52.1 percent of the snaps offensively so far this year, and was outsnapped by Kenneth Gainwell in the team’s opening game against the New York Jets.
Warren ran for 48 yards and had four more receptions for 86 yards, giving him a productive day of well over 100 all-purpos
