GEORGIA (WRBL) — Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman announced on Friday that a man and woman was in custody after a traffic stop and search warrants led to a seizure of drugs and guns.
According to the Muscogee County Sheriff, on Sept. 17, the Coweta County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that Desmond and Kiera Sams were driving.
The traffic stop led to the discovery and seizure of 34 pounds of marijuana that has an estimated street value of $154,220, according to Countryman.
The two were then taken into custody and booked at the Coweta County Jail without incident.
