ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man shot in November 2024 and died in April 2025 had his death ruled as a homicide on Wednesday.
On Nov. 7, a shooting happened in the 4100 block of North 22nd Street. At the scene, police found 71-year-old Timothy Anderson with a graze wound and other serious injuries to his head.
On Nov. 12, a 54-year-old man turned himself in. Police say at the time, the St. Louis City Circuit Attorney’s Office refused charges against the man.
Months later, on April 7, the 71-year-old man died from his injuries. The St. Louis Medical Examiner on Wednesday said the cause of death was from blunt force trauma to the head and spine and ruled the death a homicide.
Homicide detectives are now investigating.
