The Houston Astros will reinstate All-Star third baseman Isaac Paredes from the 60-day injured list Friday, multiple outlets reported.

Paredes, sidelined since July 19 with a strained hamstring, will be available for a critical weekend series against the visiting Seattle Mariners.

The Astros and Mariners are tied atop the American League West with 84-69 records entering Friday’s contest.

Paredes, 26, batted .259 with 19 home runs and 50 RBIs in 94 games before the injury, earning his second All-Star selection.

Paredes has made 88 starts at third base this season but is expected to serve as the designated hitter upon his return, per reports.
