JACKSON, MI — Although the actor was perhaps better known for his roles in “All the President’s Men” and “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” one of Robert Redford’s final roles had Michigan ties.

Redford, who died earlier this month at age 89, spent at least one long day filming in the now-closed Cell Block 7 Museum, part of the former State Prison of Southern Michigan in Jackson County.
