HARTFORD CITY, Ind. (WANE) - A man who faces 11 charges was shot by a police officer Thursday in Blackford County while officers tried to arrest him and another suspect.
Shortly before 9 p.m., officers with the Hartford City Police Department went to a house to serve a search warrant. At some point during the investigation, 42-year-old Glen Wilburn was shot by an officer, according to a press release from Indiana State Police.
Police then provided aid until medics took him to a hospital, where it was determined his injuries were minor. Wilburn was then put back in police custody.
Wilburn faces a slew of drug charges, including: • Dealing Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 2 Felony) • Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 3 Felony) • Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 3 Felony)
