LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The City of Laredo Public Health Department said construction has begun on the Maryland Avenue side of its clinic, temporarily closing that entrance.
Officials said the closure will last about four to five weeks, through October 2025. During that time, the Cedar Avenue entrance will serve as the only access point for vehicles and pedestrians.
The department said the project is part of improvements to the parking area and is intended to make the facility safer and more accessible.
“We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we make these improvements,” the department said in a statement.
