SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)-- There will be lane and ramp closures planned along Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in the City of Syracuse.

The New York State Department of Transportation wants you to know that Interstate 81 will be reduced to one lane at the following locations in the City of Syracuse, Onondaga County, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, September 22, and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., weeknights, beginning Tuesday, September 23, to Thursday, September 25, for pavement markings as part of the I-81 Viaduct Project: • Interstate 81 northbound between Exit 18 (Adams Street/Harrison Street) and Exit 23 (Park Street/Hiawatha Boulevard) • Interstate 81 southbound between Exits 23A-23B-22 (Hiawatha Boulevard/Destiny USA Drive/Bear Street) and Exit 20 (Franklin Street/West Street)
