TOWN OF WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Waking up at the crack of dawn and waiting in line for...Pokémon cards?

We found Skyler Bartholomew and Creeden Flake waiting outside Friday morning to get into Target.

“Pretty much every Friday,” said Flake.

“Yeah, every Friday we come here because it’s the only place we can actually secure stuff,” said Bartholomew.

That stuff? Pokémon cards.

“Pokémon stuff, it’s really collectable lately. A lot of people try to get the jump in line first, so a lot of people wait here at like 4:30, 5 in the morning,” said Bartholomew.

They come in early to get these slips marking their spot in line.

“Everybody collects sports cards, and like, the Beanie Baby craze back in ’99 or whatever. I just think there’s a big market for it right now,” said Bartholomew.
