FLATBUSH — POLICE ARRESTED Kindle Akinola, 21, a resident of Prospect Lefferts Gardens , on Thursday at 5:20 p.m., after he allegedly shot and killed a 24-year-old man outside his Flatbush home Wednesday night.

Officers responded around 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday to Crooke Avenue between Saint Paul’s Place and Ocean Avenue, two blocks from Prospect Park, where victim Ramel Ingram was found with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Akinola is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon. The investigation remains open, police said.
